Nvidia Corporation has achieved a historic milestone, surpassing Apple to become the world's most valuable publicly traded company with a market capitalization exceeding $4 trillion. The achievement caps a remarkable three-year run for the Santa Clara-based chipmaker, which has emerged as the primary beneficiary of the artificial intelligence revolution sweeping global industries.

The company's graphics processing units have become the de facto standard for training and running AI models, from ChatGPT to autonomous vehicles. Data centers worldwide are racing to stockpile Nvidia's latest Blackwell architecture chips, with demand far outstripping supply despite the company's aggressive production ramp.

"We're at the beginning of a new computing era," said CEO Jensen Huang during the company's latest earnings call. "Every industry is being transformed by AI, and Nvidia is at the center of this transformation."

Wall Street analysts have scrambled to raise price targets, with some projecting the company could reach $5 trillion in market value by year-end. The stock has gained over 800% since the beginning of 2023, making early investors extraordinarily wealthy and reshaping major stock indices.
